Meet Omakase Our Omakase Chef – Andrew Oh

Andrew brings over 10 years of experience as an esteemed sushi chef from the West Coast. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Andrew has worked at some of the most prestigious sushi restaurants in SF, where he has specialized in Omakase for the past five-plus years. He was the Executive or Lead Sushi Chef at notable Michelin Guide-listed restaurants like Friends Only and Robin, where he led teams in creating unique sushi dining experiences. His menu and specialties have been lauded by numerous reviews and publications in the Bay Area’s restaurant community.  Andrew joined Yono by Bond Street in early 2024 to advance the fine dining Omakase experience at Yono’s unique sushi bar counter.  On most days, Andrew himself works at the counter at Yono, delivering to its guests one of the most tasteful and unique experiences in Moynihan Hall.
